LitFiction with Inform

There is a rich tradition in IF beyond puzzlers and riddle rooms of literary fiction and hypertext narratives. I've always loved the opportunity to delve deeper into the meanings of objects, people, and meaning within a narrative. For me, it's why behind-the-scenes has always been my favorite part of any creative endeavor. With this project, I wanted to create a memory story that fades through repetition. After (x) number of actions, the reader/player finds less meaning available with a reduction akin to the memory loss suffered by those afflicted with the debilitating effects of age and illness. As an elder myself, my memory and cognitive skills are already declining-more so every day. I build these stories/games now because I don't know if I will be able to a year from now. I hope I can, as I am experiencing a cathartic release using I7 in a way that is meaningful to me.
