Haunted Threes

HEX THREE: match-3
Swap pumpkins, skulls, potions and spellbooks to line up three or more. Match four to light a lantern that burns away a whole row. Match five for a crystal ball that clears every tile of one kind. Play the classic mode, where you clear the goal within your moves, or Timed mode, where you race the clock and earn seconds back with every cascade.

CAULDRON THREE: triple-tile puzzle
Tiles are stacked in layers like mahjong. Pick the ones that aren't covered and drop them into your cauldron, where three alike brew away. Fill all seven slots without a triple and it boils over. Each level stacks higher, and you get one Undo, one Lift and one Shuffle per level to get you out of trouble.

CRYPT THREE: chain roguelike
Drag a line through bats, ghosts and skulls, and chain your axes and scythes in to cut them down. Drink potions, gather amulets for ward, and spend your candy at the Trick-or-Treat shop. Every foe left standing strikes back each turn, and a boss rises every thirty turns. How deep can you go?

• Hex Three: swipe a tile, or tap two neighbours to swap them
