Tales from Alphabet City: The Old Guard

Many folks lived in AC - some reaching back to the 1940s when it was a much different place. The Lower East Side was a place to raise children and be amongst friends and family. As it slid slowly towards the gutter, some found themselves trapped. Unwilling or unable to leave. This is one such story.
